21-09-2011

Bucharest, September 20th, 2011- KRUK International, one of the top companies in Romania on the receivables collection market and leader of this market in Poland is launching a communication campaign by starting emission of a commercial TV spot on the main television channels in Romania. The campaign is part of the educational platform “My Debt” and will be unfolded over the next three months.
“It is the very first communication campaign developed by a receivables collection company in Romania directed to people with debts and we are happy to be able to share from the experience of the previous campaign developed by KRUK Group in Poland. We have invested significant resources in the training of our negotiators so as to be able to offer the clients unique agreement strategy, by reaching to a mutually advantageous solution. We respect the dignity of people in debts, as we also know that they most often do not repay their obligations because they simply do not have the money. Therefore, above all, we try to communicate amicably. The experience of the last few years has shown that this is the best strategy for all parties” – said Piotr Krupa, CEO of KRUK S.A. “Thanks to it we are able to help indebted people while protecting the interests of business partners.”

The communication campaign is implemented following the qualitative research study conducted by Mercury Research Institute together with KRUK International. The objective of the study was to identify the consumption habits and the needs of the indebted people . “For most of the cases, the debtors have difficulties in finding a  solution to  their problems. Our role is to offer the support they need and to give them confidence in the possibility and capability to continue payments as part of the arrangements concluded. The KRUK specialists act as financial consultants and they offer the debtor the best solution in order to reach the most appropriate solution for the payment of the debts, which should meet his current capabilities”, declared Isabela Iacob, General Director KRUK International.

According to the  Mercury Research study, the priorities in the family budget are payment of the utilities bills, medicines, covering expenses for their children (clothing, food stuff, school stationery), daily food and cigarettes  (if they are smokers).  The debts to the banks are mentioned as ranking high in the top of priorities, followed by the expenses with fuel, for the car owners.
“The persons who have registered late payments are stressed by the fact that they have to pay the installments, and the worry about the consequences of such a situation and a degradation of self-respect. All this could lead to isolation and avoidance of contacts”, explains Mircea Kivu, expert in sociology.
The aim of the KRUK International action is to open these people for contact, dialogue and cooperation with creditor or representing him the debt collection company. Becouse it lays in their best intrest. Very often people hide and escape from this problem becose they feel fear and do not know what to do in this situation. „We want to show them how our company functions, what they can expect and explain what to do to successfuly manage their problems with debts. It is completely new quality in relations and the proccess of communication with debtors. TV and media campaign will let us to do it in the fastest and the most understandable way” – summerizes Piotr Krupa.
